We would love for University Chapel to become your church family during your university years. We have weekly small groups for students, as well as frequent events (including public lectures, arts events, games nights) in our study centre, The Scriptorium. We also host house open study hours in The Scriptorium during the school term.
The Scriptorium
The Scriptorium is where the majority of our university student programs take place. The Scriptorium is a Christian study centre and learning community that provides space and opportunities for students to explore the beauty, truth, and goodness of the world, in the light of Christ and Christian tradition. We value friendship-based learning and hospitality.
The Scriptorium is open at select times during the week for students to come study, read, or engage in conversations. We also host various public events including public lectures, arts events, and games nights. The Scriptorium is located in the basement of University Chapel.
Scriptorium Study Hours
Come by and enjoy a free cup of coffee or tea while working on your next assignment or reading a good book. The Scriptorium study hours during the 2023 Fall term are TBA. It may just become your new favourite spot.
