“What is Truth?”  Dealing with Pilate’s Dilemma in a Post-Truth Society.

We are living through a period of intense controversy and acrimony in the public marketplace of ideas.  Different points of view are not respected and debate is regularly marred by animosity and intolerance.  Often not even the facts of an issue can be agreed upon and details are confused by conspiracy theories and accusations of fake news and hoaxes. 
  • How do we, as Christians, respond?
  • What is truth and where do we look for the facts in all the uncertainty?
  • How can we engage with others and present our views constructively?
Dr Iain Provan, Professor of Biblical Studies at Regent College, will be exploring these issues in an online zoom Seminar and Q&A on Wednesday March 24th at 7.30 - 9.30pm. 
The seminar is free but registration is required so that the link can be sent to you.  The seminar is limited to 100 attendees, so register soon.  The Q&A will be moderated so that the event remains respectful as different ideas are explored.
